COVID: Military personnel thanked as support in Scotland ends

Armed Forces personnel supporting the COVID-19 effort in part of Scotland, have been thanked for their help as they stepped down from the role.

The servicemen and women have worked alongside NHS staff to deliver vaccinations in communities across the country.

With large numbers of people taking up the vaccine, the support from the military has been vital – helping NHS Ayrshire and Arran process more people through vaccination centres.
