Over 300 Gurkha recruits pass out at Catterick's Infantry Training Centre

More than 300 Gurkha Recruits have passed out at the Infantry Training Centre in Catterick after nine months of training.

Now fully fledged riflemen of the British Army, the troops had to learn soldiering skills, a new language and culture, as well as adjusting to life thousands of miles away from their families.

All that's left now is dispersal day, where they will join their new regiments before they are reunited with family back in Nepal for the first time since the start of their training.
