Russian Soldier Kills Eight At Siberian Military Base

The village of Gorny (Picture: PA).
A soldier has shot dead eight fellow servicemen at a military base in Siberia, the Russian defence ministry has said.
Two others were wounded in the shooting spree.
It is understood to have happened in the town of Gorny in the Baikal Lake region - about 93 miles north of the border with Mongolia.
Reports suggest the soldier opened fire in a "nervous breakdown over personal problems unrelated to his military duties".
An investigation is underway.
