The Taliban has claimed responsibility for a suicide bomb attack on a Nato convoy near Kabul which has injured six Czech soldiers and four Afghan civilians.
A Nato spokeswoman confirmed the attack took place in the Bagram district, 24 miles from the capital, which is the home of a sprawling US military base.
SFC Debra Richardson, a Resolute Support spokesman, said:
"Initial reports from the incident indicated six Czech soldiers were wounded.
"Three returned to duty fairly quickly. Three others are still receiving treatment.
"Four Afghan civilians were wounded by the explosion, including one child.
"Yet again, the Taliban are indiscriminately using explosives that injure and kill innocent civilians."
Taliban spokesman Zabihullah Mujahid says an insurgent suicide bomber rammed his car into the convoy.
