Is This Evidence Of The Yeti? Indian Army Shares Images Of 'Mysterious Footprints'

The Indian Army says it has found evidence of a Yeti during an expedition on mountains near Nepal.
Posting on Twitter, they shared images of 32-inch-long "mysterious footprints" in the snow near to Makalu Base Camp on the Nepal-China border, which they say belong to the "mythical beast".
The Yeti, also known as the Abominable Snowman, is a mythical ape-like creature bigger than a human found in the Himalaya region.
An Indian Army team of personnel began its first ever expedition to the 8,484m-high Mount Makalu at the end of March, with the aim of reaching all peaks higher than 8,000m.
They say the images of the footprints were taken earlier this month.

The Yeti is an important part of folklore in Himalayan regions.
The creature is said to live in the high altitude mountains of the area.
The Indian Army's find has generated a mix response on Twitter, with some calling for more "respect" to be shown, and others mocking the authenticity of the footprints.
Congratulations, we are always proud of you. salutes to the #IndianArmy Moutaineering Expedition Team. But please, you are Indian, dont call Yeti as beast. Show respect for them. If you say he is a 'snowman'.
