Adjutant General's Corps celebrates 30 years with freedom parade

The Adjutant General's Corps marched through Winchester to celebrate its 30th anniversary.

A freedom parade was bestowed by the city on the corps as a mark of honour and respect.

Led by the Band of the Rifles, representatives of the Adjutant General's Corps marched through Winchester before the parade finished with the troops forming up for an inspection.

After arriving at the Guildhall, the parade was under the watchful eye of Deputy Colonel in Chief, Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Gloucester.

The Duchess was not deterred by torrential rain and spent a long time talking with the personnel.

After the troops passed the dais, Her Royal Highness took the salute, as 30 years of existence was celebrated in style for the Adjutant General's Corps.
