Army Boxer on Commonwealth Games Medal Win

Lance Corporal Ashley Williams from the Royal Welsh Regiment returned to his Tidworth based unit after winning a boxing Bronze Medal in the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow.

Ashley fought his way to the podium position during the Games taking on contenders from a number of Commonwealth countries. The soldier who's daily job is a dismounted infantryman returned to his regiment a hero after winning the medal for his country and is now looking forward to the Olympic Games in 2016 in Brazil.
