Commando Gunners celebrate 60 years during Freedom of the City parade

Crowds of people lined the streets of Plymouth for the 29 Commando Regiment Royal Artillery Freedom of the City parade – to mark 60 years of the Commando Gunners.

More than 1,000 serving military personnel and veterans took part in the march in Plymouth – home to the regiment since it was created in 1962.

29 Commando has supported military operations in Sierra Leone, Iraq, Syria, Afghanistan and, most recently, Ukraine.
