Skeletons Of 18th Century Royal Navy Sailors Exhumed

The skeletons of around 300 Royal Navy sailors from the 18th century have been exhumed from a building site in Plymouth. 
 
Archaeologists recovered the remains, which are now being cleaned ahead of scientific investigation. 
 
And they've already found broken bones, signs of scurvy, tuberculosis and syphilis - all common ailments for a Royal Navy sailor of the time...
