The Bastion Reservists with Their Eyes on the Sky

RAF Meteorologists have been based at Camp Bastion since the early days of the campaign in Afghanistan.
 
The service is manned by sponsored reservists who spend two months at a time keeping an eye on the skies. 
 
Now, as they prepare to leave for the final time, the weather watchers have been reflecting on the role they have played during Operation Herrick.
