Former RAF Corporal Makes GB Wheelchair Rugby Squad

Former RAF Corporal Stuart Robinson has been selected for the GB Wheelchair Rugby Squad who are set to defend their European title this summer.

GBWR held a highly competitive selection camp last week at the National Sports Centre, Lilleshall, which included games against Denmark.

Robinson, the Invictus Wheelchair rugby captain, is part of a squad of 12 chosen to compete in the IWRF 2017 European Championships in Koblenz, Germany, from the 25th June to 2nd July.

Following UK Sport's cut to all funding for the Great Britain Wheelchair Rugby team, GBWR ambassador and England and Harlequins fullback Mike Brown, has joined the campaign to secure £3 million to get the team to Tokyo 2020.
