RAF Are Creme De La Creme

Pastry perfection as the team from RAF Odiham wins Bake Off: Creme de la Creme 2017.
Going by the name 'Military Chefs', team leader Cpl Liam Grime was joined by wingmen Cpl Ian Mark and Cpl Chris Morrell.
Liam's group took the prize for their military-inspired desserts, which included an edible ration pack and a modern take on wartime austerity.
Over nine episodes, the pastry chefs went head-to-head to impress judges Benoit Blin and Cherish Finden, to be crowned best in the industry.
Unlike The Great British Bake Off, though, participants on Creme de la Creme were all professional chefs opposed to amateur bakers.
The teams were put through their paces in a series of Bake Off-esk tasks which were judged on flavour, texture and presentation.
Baking addicts will remember that Liam's military team made it to the semi-final of Creme de la Creme last year.
Liam competes regularly for the RAF and the Combined Services Catering Team, winning gold medals at the Culinary Olympics.
