70 Years Of CSE
CSE Events and Entertainment has launched a new website as it looks to celebrate 70 years of providing live entertainment for members of the British Armed Forces and their families.
Part of a charity, the not for profit organisation has vast experience in putting on live music shows, comedy nights and celebrity visits - often into warzones for frontline combat troops.
Something the Head of CSE, Nicky Ness is extremely proud of.. "Forces audiences know we have the skills and the widest stable of appropriate performers to put on a show in any location. From a Forward Operating Base in Helmand, to festival size stage event in Germany, to Homecomings & Balls in the UK, whatever the budget - we've done it all."
"After a hugely succesful period of providing more than 400 entertainment shows a year to operational and decompressing troops, the draw-down in Afghanistan and resulting reduction in the MoD's requirement means the CSE team has turned the focus on being able to do more shows at home."
"Given the sheer number of personnel who have seen our events over the last 10 years, mainly through Op Herrick and Op Telic, we have already seen an increase in the number of contracts we are receiving to stage events in Mess, club and bar locations in the UK and overseas - refocusing in order to meet this changing need was a no-brainer."
