Injured Veterans Close In On "Impossible" Record
The adaptive Grand Slam team have conquered another mountain in their mission to climb seven peaks in seven continents and walk to the North and South Poles.
This time it was the austere slopes of Mount Aconcagua in Argentina.
Only 11 people have ever completed the notorious Adventurer's Grand Slam - and all of them have been able-bodied - but now this intrepid team of 13 has made it one step closer to joining their number.
This was the team's second attempt at climbing Mount Aconcagua, after they were forced to turn back from the summit in 2015 due to extreme bad weather.
This time the altitude sickness was the toughest element of the challenge.
Martin Hewitt, a former parachute regiment officer who suffers from a paralysed right arm after being shot in Afghanistan, is the team leader.
Other members of the team are coping with blindness and lost limbs.
The team have already reached the North Pole and successfully climbed Mount Elbriss in Russia, Mount McKinley in America and Mount Kilimanjaro in Africa.
They hope their achievements will inspire others coping with injuries and raise money for the charity "Support Our Paras".
