"Nothing Can Compare" To WWII's VE Day Celebrations
Ahead of the 70th anniversary of VE Day, a former Civil Defence volunteer has told Forces TV that "nothing can compare" to the celebrations held in Weymouth when it was announced the Second World War was finally over.
Poppy Butcher was only 11 when the war war declared.
She's been speaking to Hannah Gurney about what she remembers from a time mixed with joy and tragedy.
