Numbering off: Find out how many jets, tanks and subs the Armed Forces have in stock

Two hundred and eighty-five Challenger 2 main battle tanks, 124 Typhoon multi-role fighters and nine submarines are among the items of heavy-hitting hardware the Armed Forces have at their disposal, the MOD has revealed.
The figures were released in the MOD's UK Armed Forces Equipment and Formations 2026 report, giving the public a detailed look at its current inventory.
The numbers were counted in April this year and listed by domain rather than branch of service. And it's important to note that not all the platforms listed are ready for operational deployment.
LAND
Notable changes from last year include the continued onboarding of Ajax, Boxer and Jackal 3.
There has been a reduction in the number of Warriors and Wolfhounds as both vehicles have been granted in kind to Ukraine.
There has also been a reduction in the Bulldog fleet due to disposals as well as the granting of the APC to Ukraine.
