Rebuilding Nepal: One Year On From The Devastating Quake

And as monsoon season approaches, people are still calling for government assistance.

Members of the Queen's Gurkha Engineers, meanwhile, have been in the country ever since the earthquake working with the Gurkha Welfare Trust on construction projects.

Operation Marmat is now in its third phase and the trust hopes to complete more than 1,000 homes in the next year.

Its earthquake response campaign is aiming to raise £17.5m to support Gurkha veterans and their communities.

Carla Prater spoke to the trust's Director, Col William Shuttlewood, about the support plans they've put in place.
