Remembering The Christmas Truce

2014 was a year of remembrance as the start of the Great War a century before was commemorated.

On Christmas Day 1914 British and German troops fighting on the Western Front put down their weapons and met in No Man's Land, where they exchanged gifts and in some cases enjoyed a game of football.

Known as "The Christmas Truce", the event became one of the most celebrated stories from that conflict.

Forces TV reporter Julian Evans followed the commemorations during the festive period, as well as going to find out exactly what happened on that day 100 years ago.
