Aiming for the PDC tour: Army Darts' Jasper Scarrott qualifies for Q School final stage

The reigning British Army darts champion, Captain Jasper Scarrott, is through to the final stage of the PDC Q School.
It means the military player will get the chance to compete for an elusive tour card, which is a licence for 128 professional darts players, granting entry to all PDC ProTour events and offering benefits like World Championship qualification pathways.
Capt Scarrott is the reigning Army darts champion after winning the first-ever service championships in October.

Fellow Army star Corporal Darren McMahon lost out in a close last-64 game to former World Champion John Part, ending his hopes of a tour card.
