The fighters who will take to the ring at the Inter Services Championships in Portsmouth have been confirmed.

The Royal Navy will be defending their title after ending the Army’s 34-year dominance of the tournament last year.

Since then, the former champions have been eager to get revenge and will be hoping to reclaim the tournament next week.

They will be without stalwart Corporal Chez Nihell, who has since turned professional and won his debut fight at the O2 Arena.

In terms of numbers, the Army have nine fighters in their team, the Navy have eight and the RAF have only three boxers competing.

The teams are:

  • Navy – Ali, Matthews, Chapman B, Chapman L, Osmond, Stringer, Farrell, Kirby
  • Army - Khan, Bracken, Rees-Davies, Love, Plummer, Brown, Moran, Ngwenya, Woods
  • RAF – Lyon, Bailey, Axe
