Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu: Medal success for Army soldiers at international competition

There has been international success for a British Army Brazilian jiu-jitsu competitor in Las Vegas.
The 2023 Jiu-Jitsu Con event saw some of the best competitors in the world involved with Army Bombardier Josh Gibbs walking away with two medals.
He won bronze in the Openweight category but his big achievement was a gold medal in the heavyweight category.

The soldier won the final against Kalum John Klausner who is the number one ranked male athlete in the United States.
Meanwhile, at the World Masters Championships also in Las Vegas, Captain Charlotte McIntyre picked up a bronze medal in the middleweight division and Staff Sergeant Andrew Kapper secured the same result in the heavyweight competition.
