Staying at the top: Royal Logistic Corps reign supreme in Army T20 final
The Royal Logistic Corps (RLC) retained their Army Inter Corps T20 cricket title with victory over the Royal Signals in Aldershot.
A low-scoring final saw RLC batter Charlie Bevan top score with 44 and teammate Ywal Williams contribute 23 runs from just 10 balls to help their side to victory.
Winning the toss and deciding to bat first, the RLC lost the wicket of Keddy Lesporis in just the second over of the match with only seven runs on the board.

Skipper Denson Narayan joined opener Bevan at the crease to help steady the innings before Narayan was bowled by Signalmen bowler Alex Springer with the score 49-2.
Springer dismissed Elliot Bevan next ball as the fielding side turned the screw. RLC batter Winston Wiggins denied Springer his hat-trick but the reprieve was only temporary, as Wiggins was soon on his way with Springer claiming his third wicket of the match.
Reaching six shy of his half-century, Bevan's time in the middle came to an end when, trying to force the run rate along, he was bowled.
Wickets continued to fall throughout the innings and with the RLC floundering at 88-8 in the 18th over, the Signalmen were on top. Enter the fray, Ywal Williams.

The talented tail-ender brought some Caribbean flair to proceedings. He blitzed the Signal bowlers, adding vital runs to his side's score with his quick-fire 23 taking the RLC total to 117-8 from their 20 overs.
The late show from Williams seemed to shift the match momentum. In pursuit of the target, the Signals stuttered at the crease. Opener Bidan Gurung was the first to fall. He was dismissed in the first over sending a shot straight into the clutches of Nigel Small from the bowling of Charlie Bevan.
The batting of Charles Mitchell briefly put the RLC bowlers on the back foot, as he struck the ball to the boundary. Mitchell didn't linger long however. He was one of a steady stream of wickets. The RLC bowling with Narayan (3-16), Williams (2-18), Bevan (2-18), Farhad Patwary (1-18) limited the Royal Signals to 101 for 7 from their 20 overs.
Following their victory, Charlie Bevan acknowledged the RLC side have made adjustments in recent seasons. He said: "It means a lot. We've gone through a bit of a transition periods over the last couple of years.
"To still be winning these trophies is really, really important to the corps".
Meanwhile there was delight for the Brigade of Gurkhas as they retained the Inter Corps Division 2 title. Jackey Gurung top-scored with 47 not out to help his side record a two-wicket win over the Royal Army Medical Services.
