Army on top as riders battle for UK Armed Forces equestrian title
Nearly 100 riders from all three services have been competing in the UK Armed Forces equestrian championships at Addington Manor.
A rich mixture of experienced and novice riders were on show and the Army were confirmed as team champions despite a strong showing from the RAF.
The day of action was the culmination of a year-long challenge with dressage, eventing, showjumping, and combined training dressage and jumping making up four rounds of the Loriners Inter Services competition.

This was the first time the UKAF championships had returned to Addington Manor in Buckinghamshire for four years, and it was an impressive performance from the RAF to win the combined dressage and showjumping event.
"We've had a really super time," said RAF rider Flight Lieutenant Nat Morelle.
The top eight riders and horses across the year will compete in the military showjumping final at the London International Horse Show in December.
