The Army women's footballers have won silverware after seeing off the Royal Navy in a five-a-side tournament at St George's Park.

The Army entered three teams into the CSSC (Civil Service Sports Council) competition, and Team 1 defeated the Navy in the final, having come from 1-0 down to win 2-1.

Team 2 narrowly missed out on the decider due to goal difference and went on to play Team 3 in the Plate competition.

Team 3 won the Plate match 1-0, adding more silverware to the Army's cabinets.

The teams also met England goalkeeping great Peter Shilton as part of the experience.

Both the Royal Navy and British Army thanked the CSSC for putting the event together.
