Military personnel wish Lionesses good luck ahead of Women's World Cup final
Military personnel from around the Armed Forces world have recorded heartfelt messages of support for the Lionesses ahead of the Women's World Cup final against Spain on Sunday.
The videos feature support from British Army personnel deployed in Germany and two naval officers from HMS Dauntless in Florida, plus RAF personnel in Cyprus, the ship's company of HMS Medway and football fans from the British Forces South Atlantic Islands.
Following the Lionesses' triumphant win against Australia in the semi-final on Wednesday, Sunday will be the first time England has reached a football World Cup final since 1966.
The Bands of His Majesty's Royal Marines wished the Lionesses the best of luck in their own special musical way.
Meanwhile, while the world watches the national team, military sports fans will have their eyes firmly fixed on this year's International Defence Rugby Competition in France.
