In the second half, the Demons ran away with it as they doubled their score and won by a 22-point margin.
The Army's cause wasn't helped by the sin-binning of scrum-half Isabel Bibby before half-time for a high tackle.
With just one game to go against Bedford Tigers on 5 August, the Army's hopes of qualification for the knock-out finals remain in the balance.
