RAF's Sarah Bonar scores try against Japan to help Scotland to third WXV win

RAF Rugby Union star Flight Lieutenant Sarah Bonar scored a fantastic try at the WXV tournament in Cape Town to help Scotland get the job done over Japan with a commanding 38-7 win.
The Royal Air Force officer crashed over for a second-half try in the 66th minute after she came on as a substitute, helping Scotland to their third straight win of the inaugural WXV tournament, having already beaten South Africa and the USA.
Scotland are now top of the standings of WXV 2 with a perfect 15 points, and unless Italy can score a bonus point in their concluding match against the USA on Saturday, the WXV 2 title will be theirs.
Ft Lt Bonar's RAF teammates, England's Amy Cokayne and Wales' Carys Williams-Morris, are also playing for their respective nations in the WXV tournament, as Morris lines up to play against New Zealand on Saturday.
WXV is a new competition launched by World Rugby with the aim of transforming the international rugby landscape and providing a pathway for all unions and a competitive qualification route towards an expanded 16-team Rugby World Cup in 2025.
