Last hurrah: British Army's Apache Mk1 helicopter flying its final mission
The British Army’s Apache Mk1 is undertaking its final deployment before being stood down from duty.
After years of service in the Army, Operation Clockwork is expected to be the helicopter's final mission.
The Army Air Corps is replacing the Mk1 variant of the Apache with the newer AH-64E model, which is fitted with upgraded sights and sensors, as well as having a superior performance in the air.
