Fleet Air Arm Museum's new exhibition offers a taste of life on a carrier

The Royal Navy Fleet Air Arm Museum in Yeovilton has opened a £1m refurbished aircraft carrier exhibition.

It aims to give people a taste of life on board and a vision of what it takes to power the airfields of the sea.

Digital technology is used to transport visitors from the years of the First World War to the modern HMS Queen Elizabeth class carriers of today.

Many of the volunteers are military veterans.

The experience aims to leave visitors with a better understanding of the skill, technology and teamwork needed.
