In pictures: Dazzling drone display tells the story of D-Day in the sky over Portsmouth

A stunning drone display told the story of D-Day in the night sky over Portsmouth to mark the 80th anniversary of the Normandy Landings.
Crowds on the Hampshire coastline were dazzled with images of landing craft, soldiers, parachutes and Spitfires.
The spectacular display also featured the words 'I can remember'.

Given Portsmouth's historical significance as the departure point for most of the troops on D-Day, it was a profoundly fitting location for the poignant tribute.
