A D-Day veterans' bench has been vandalised with Swastikas spray painted onto it in Lincolnshire.
A number of areas inside Twyford Woods were also targeted, including walls and empty fuel drums.
The bench is located at the former home of RAF North Witham, where US aircraft took off for Normandy ahead of the D-Day landings in 1944.

Lincolnshire Police said: "A number of areas within the Twyford Woods site have been defaced with Swastikas in silver and white spray paint.
"This includes a commemorative bench which has been extensively vandalised."

Police say the incident happened between Sunday 9 and Monday 10 June.
They are appealing for witnesses with any information to come forward.
