The Canine Companions Improving Veterans' Lives

A new charity in Scotland is looking to improve the lives of military personnel by teaming them with dogs.

'Bravehound' aims to train guide dogs for serving troops or veterans that are suffering from the physical or mental effects of war.

The charity will support costs for the dog and vet bills as well as providing specialist trainers to match each dog to specific needs.

The dogs can be trained to support those with a physical injury or mental health problems.
