First Mosque Commits to Sign Armed Forces Covenant

The central mosque in Leicester has become the first mosque in the country to commit to signing up to the Armed Forces Covenant.
 
Head Imam Muhammad Shahid Raza made the historic pledge alongside military leaders from 158 Transport Regiment RLC, which has a squadron based in Loughborough.
 
It’s a show of support from the Muslim community for the service the military provides.
