Mountain Combat: Exercise Iberian Star

Specialising in high-altitude and extreme weather combat, hardy Spanish mountain troops are elite soldiers that have been likened to the "Royal Marines of the Spanish Army".

Twice a year they combine their training in skiing, climbing and trekking with their combat skills.

And now, for the very first time, they are to be joined on their summer exercise by an entire reservist regiment from South East England.

We join 3rd Battalion, The Princess of Wales's Royal Regiment (3PWRR), as they get more than they had bargained for deep in the heart of the beautiful Pyrenees.
