Royal Engineers Keeping Cumbria Ticking

In the aftermath of the floods that hit parts of northern Britain recently, Royal Engineers have completed the inspection of more than 100 bridges.

The sappers from across the North West and the Midlands were responding to a request by Cumbria County Council.

Led by 21 Engineer Regiment, they've been touring the region assessing bridges' structural integrity and safety.
