Hollywood star Rob McElhenney supports Royal British Legion's Poppy Appeal

Rob McElhenney, co-owner of Wrexham AFC with Hollywood actor Ryan Reynolds and star of hit US comedy 'It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia', has lent his star power to support this year's Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal in Wales.
The Royal British Legion (RBL) in North Wales' Twitter account posted an image of the actor posing for a photo with Wrexham supporter Gill Roberts – both wearing the uniquely designed Wrexham AFC poppy pin which connects the iconic red flower to the football club's logo.
A staggering 3,000 poppy pins were sold in the north of Wales on launch day alone, a fact the RBL credits Wrexham fans and McElhenney for achieving.
Humphrey Ker, Wrexham AFC's Executive Director, also posed with football fan Gill wearing his unique poppy pin.
Gill confirmed in a tweet that all the Wrexham AFC poppy pins have sold out but that RBL in North Wales "has already assured me that there will be many more available next year."
RBL volunteers will be collecting at the Wrexham AFC match against Altrincham FC this Saturday.
