Watch: Bird's Eye View Of Kabul Airport

Nine hundred British personnel are currently deployed to Kabul Airport, in the capital city of Afghanistan, to help the evacuation of British nationals and former Afghan staff.

Defence Secretary Ben Wallace told the BBC UK troops will stay in Afghanistan "as long as the United State forces are running the airport".

He also said he had "just authorised another company" to deploy to Kabul.

It comes after the Chief of Defence Staff said UK personnel were "collaborating" with the Taliban to help get people out of the country.
