Army Tests New Unmanned Vehicle In Cyprus

British Army personnel have tested a new "experimental" unmanned ground vehicle (UGV) in Cyprus.

The service has been trying out the technology in Episkopi for the Army's new Enhanced Light Force Battalion (ELFB).

Soldiers have also tested other equipment, including night vision rifle scopes, and a digital tracking system.

New robotic platoon vehicles were also trialled, and a display of the new SA80 A3 rifle carried out.
