Boris Johnson Calls For More Pressure On North Korea Over Missile Tests

Foreign Secretary Boris Johnson has said Britain stands "shoulder to shoulder" with Japan in efforts to end North Korea's nuclear and missile tests.
In a visit to Tokyo on Friday, he said that "we all need to increase the pressure on Pyongyang through diplomacy and sanctions, and that must include China using its influence to bring North Korea back to the negotiation table".
The Foreign Secretary is meeting Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe, the foreign minister and the governor of Tokyo on a three-day trip to Japan.
Mr Johnson called North Korea's recent launch of its first intercontinental ballistic missile "a reckless provocation".
The Japanese foreign ministry says the talks are focusing on increased diplomatic and security co-operation as well as the Olympics.
Japan will host the Summer Olympics in 2020.
