A former reserve the British Army has been elected as the leader of UKIP in a shock election result.
Henry Bolton, who served in the Territorial Army for ten years, will be the party’s fourth leader in just over a year.
During his time in the TA, Bolton undertook the following roles:

However Mr Bolton, who stood as UKIP’s police and Crime commissioner in Kent in 2016, was backed by former party leader Nigel Farage.
