Mobility Guardian: UK Troops Show What They Can Do
British military personnel have been showing what they can do alongside troops from almost 30 nations.
More than 650 international military personnel and 3,000 US airmen, soldiers, sailors and marines have converged on Washington in support of the international Mobility Guardian exercise.

It's intended to test their ability to deploy quickly, across the world, into conflict areas.

It gives forces from different nations the chance to train with international partners in everything from airlifting and air refuelling to aeromedical evacuation.

British Royal Air Force, Royal Australian Air Force and Belgium Air Force airmen have been among those to take part.

The exercise will see formations of aircraft from the United States, Brazil and Colombia and a joint attack from service members from the United States, Australia, the United Kingdom, New Zealand and Canada.
US Air Force airmen and local civilians have been playing the part of local nationals trying to flee from an impending dam failure and evacuated by aircraft, meanwhile.
