RAF Airstrikes Continue In The Fight To Liberate Raqqa From Islamic State

A Royal Air Force Reaper has destroyed a truck full of Islamic State (IS) fighters whilst flying over eastern Syria, the Ministry of Defence has revealed.
The mission, which took place on Wednesday, July 26, targeted the group who were observed boarding the truck during an armed reconnaissance mission.
The Reaper’s crew tracked the vehicle as it headed along a desert road, before destroying it with a Hellfire missile.

The following day, an RAF Tornado and Typhoon carried out a patrol on behalf of the Syrian Democratic Forces, who are currently advancing inside Raqqa.
As the SDF came under heavy fire from a terrorist position, an attack from the Typhoon and Tornado duo using a Paveway IV quickly removed the threat.
A sniper position was similarly wiped out when later encountered by the SDF.
And on Sunday, July 30, another mixed pair of aircraft successfully destroyed a pair of snipers.
The fight to liberate Raqqa from IS continues.
