The UK's Most 'Bombproof' Home Is Up For Sale
A former RAF bombing control tower, known as "the UK's toughest home", has gone on sale for £350,000.
Rosehearty Tower was constructed in 1994 to observe RAF bombing practice off the coast of Aberdeenshire, in Scotland.
Originally designed to withstand the blast from a 2,000lb bomb, the building was converted into a four-bedroom family home in 2002.
The 45-foot-high tower cost £750,000 to construct and was bought for £75,000 when the bombing practice ended in the area.
It now features four bedrooms, two kitchens, a triple garage, a spiral staircase and the original bombproof windows.

The tower allowed military observers to watch safely as jets bombed targets being towed off shore.
It now affords 360-degree views of breathtaking coastal scenery and wildlife, including dolphins.
On the British property website Zoopla, sellers Doorstep Agents wrote:
"The area boasts lovely walks, plenty of outdoor pursuits such as bird, whale and dolphin watching, bowling, cycling, sailing and is a well known fishing and scuba diving spot".
They added that the property "would lend itself to potential Bed and Breakfast and holiday lets".
The RAF bombing range was established in the early 1950s and remained in use until 2000, when it was closed and sold by Defence Estates.
