RAF Puma crews train to fight Mediterranean fires as wildfire season begins

RAF Puma helicopter crews are training in Cyprus for Mediterranean wildfire duties this summer.

Working alongside units from across the island and Jordan, British troops have taken part in firefighting drills in the village of Kivides.

As shown in the video above, it is the first firefighting season for the Puma after three Pumas replaced the Griffin fleet at RAF Akrotiri.
