2 RIFLES take over from 3 Para in Falkland Islands

Troops from the 2nd Battalion, The Rifles, have taken over from 3 Parachute Regiment on the Falkland Islands.

The Rifles personnel will serve on the island as the Roulement Infantry Company.

In a post on Twitter, British Forces South Atlantic Islands (BFSAI) said the personnel are currently "familiarising themselves with other BFSAI capabilities".

They added the troops are also "beginning to patrol to get to know the people, and geography of the Falklands".
