Some of the major defence constituencies across the UK have seen a shift in their Parliamentary representation as the Labour Party won the General Election.

Two of the big changes are former defence secretary Grant Shapps and veterans' minister Johnny Mercer.

The former Conservative MPs lost their respective seats of Welwyn-Hatfield and Plymouth Moor View to Labour.
