'Billion Pound Base' Director on Camp Bastion

Camp Bastion was the power-house of the UK's military operations in Afghanistan for eight years - a town the size of Reading with a massive infrastructure.

A documentary on Channel 4 this weekend tells the story of the dismantling and eventual handover of the camp.

It's called the Billion Pound Base and you can see it on Forces TV over Christmas.

Kate Gerbeau spoke to the production's director, Richard Parry, who lived and breathed the packing up process, and asked him why he thought it would be an interesting subject to document.
