Discover More About The History Of Military Uniforms
A photographer has recorded in incredible detail military kits spanning centuries, from medieval knights through to that carried into the trenches of the Western Front and modern day front line equipment.
Thom Atkinson has recorded 13 complete kits for a special collection called the "Soldiers Inventories" series.
He came in to speak to Forces TV about it but first we took a look at his work.
