In pictures: Brooch gift marks Queen's commitment to 4th Battalion, The Ranger Regiment
The Queen has been honoured with an Army brooch recognising her commitment to a battalion, ahead of the launch of a new charity supporting its soldiers.
As Royal Colonel of the 4th Battalion, The Ranger Regiment, Queen Camilla was presented with the Mappin and Webb piece by the unit's commanding officer, Lieutenant Colonel Charles Bairsto.
Delighted with the gift, she said: "It's so lovely, I'll go and put it on."

The brooch was a gift from the regiment and the Worshipful Company of Carpenters, a livery company affiliated with 4 Ranger, and she wore it throughout her visit to the regiment's barracks in Aldershot.
The Queen also met the team behind the new Peregrine Fund, a welfare charity for The Ranger Regiment, which transitioned from The Rifles in 2021 – four battalions which are the core of the Army Special Operations Brigade.
The charity will be launched with a fundraising event later this month when supporters will be encouraged to join a 24-hour sporting challenge for as long as they want.
