Unwrap Christmas relics of WWI and beyond at National Army museum

The National Army Museum has shown off a number of Christmas gifts and memorabilia from the First World War and beyond.

The museum, located in Chelsea, London, allowed Forces News to take a look at the relics that are not normally on display to the public.

The items include embroidered Christmas cards, a Princess Mary’s gift box, issued to those soldiers and sailors in 1914 and a writing case given to non-smoking personnel.
